Throughout my time as both a radio broadcaster and a journalist, I have had the oppurtunity to win some awards.

Awards

Play by Play

For the 2021-2022 year, I was chosen out of all Nebraska colleges as the best play by play award. I submitted a UNK women's basketball game I called in January. I have also been a finalist in multiple national competitions including the IBS and ISBC awards.

Loper Update

We do a show at UNK recapping Loper Athletics called Loper Update. That show won a Golden Leaf award as well as an Eric Sevareid award of merit. This show has also won an Intercollegiate Broadcasting System national award for best sports update.

Loper Gameday

We currently do an hour-long pregame show for football games called Loper Gameday. That show was up for a CBI award in Baltimore, up against schools like Michigan, Texas State, and West Virginia. The show has won multiple Golden Leaf awards as well.
