MY STORY

Sports have always been a part of my life. I was raised in front of a TV watching the Huskers and Packers play football. I played football all the way until my freshman year of high school. After I realized there was probably no future in that. I reached out to our media adviser at Millard West about their broadcasting program. The next year, I started calling football, and I loved it. I knew that this was what I was meant to do.

Since then, I have focused solely on this in my life. I have called football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, and wrestling. I am now in the field, working at KRVN radio in Lexington as an on air talent and a sports broadcaster after graduating from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a major in sports communication and a minor in journalism. I want to continue to move forward in this business and achieve my dreams of calling professional sports one day.
