Short answer... no. But the Huskers will be a force to be reckoned with this year. Last year, I know they went 4-8. But that's because Scott Frost is trying to clean up the mess Mike Riley made while he was here. The Huskers are having some of the best recruiting because people want to come here because they know Scott Frost is going to bring big things to Lincoln. Adrian Martinez, as a freshman, was one of the best quarterbacks in the big ten. A lot of Huskers fans are excited and they should be. Also, there schedule is not too bad for this year. The Huskers played extremely well against good teams last year, and with Frost getting rid of all the junk Riley put in, this year will be even better. Losses like Stanley Morgan Jr and Devine Ozigbo won't really hurt the Huskers in my opinion. They have had really good recruiting so far and it will continue to get better throughout the off season. The Huskers are projected as the number 16 team in the nation for the preseason polls. Frost is making this team tough again and I can't wait to watch Nebraska football next year. I predict the Huskers go 10-2, losing to Ohio State and Wisconsin. Martinez will be talked about for the Heisman. Scott Frost is going to bring this team back to the glory days and I can't wait to see it. We have some exciting new players and the amazing play of Adrian Martinez. I guarantee that in the next 5 years, the Huskers will be competing for a title.
