NFL playoff predictions

So the NFL regular season is finally over. A lot has happened and some seeding went down to the final game of the season. I’m not really going to go too in depth for the regular season because I just want to get down to my predictions. I’m going to go through the seeding and go through the whole playoffs on who I think is going to win each game and eventually the super bowl

AFC

1. Ravens

2. Chiefs

3. Patriots

4. Texans

5. Bills

6. Titans

NFC

1. 49ers

2. Packers

3. Saints

4. Eagles

5. Seahawks

6. Vikings

So lets start with wild card weekend. First up we got the Bills and the Texans. I don’t think the Texans are legitimate contenders in this playoffs, so they will struggle against the Bills good defense. I do think they’ll come away with a close low scoring game and beat the Bills 24-20. They won’t go any farther than that though. Next we got the Titans and the Patriots. The Titans have been a really good surprise this year and Ryan Tanehill has played extremely well. The Patriots are not as good as their record shows and wont make it to the super bowl. I might regret this decision, but I’m going to take the Titans 27-24

The Saints and Vikings play in a rematch of the Minneapolis miracle game. Kirk Cousins has shown time and time again that he can’t play well when it counts, and the Saints are too good of a football team, so I’ll take the Saints 31-20. The last game is the Seahawks at the Eagles. The only reason this game will be close is because it will be in Philadelphia. I do think that the Seahawks are too good running the football though and should handle their business. Seahawks 30-25. So now we move on to the divisional round. Since the Texans would be the higher seed to move out of that round, they would play the Chiefs. Deshaun Watson beat Mahomes in their first matchup, but I wouldn’t see that happening again. Chiefs would make a statement in this game winning 37-20.

The Titans would then move on to play the Ravens. This would be a blowout because the Ravens are too dang good. Lamar Jackson will continue to put up video game like numbers and they’ll take care of business 35-17. On the NFC side of things, the first game would be in Lambeu between the Saints and the Packers. The Saints have been my super bowl pick since day one, and I’m not about to change that. The Packers are too inconsistent and as much as I hate to say, will lose in a close one to Drew Brees 34-31.

The other game would be the 49ers and the Seahawks for the third time this year. I’m going to take the 49ers 28-27 just because they will have the bye and will rest up for what should be another great matchup between these two teams. Now we got the championship games. First a rematch of the great game earlier between the Ravens and the Chiefs. I have been on Mahomes to win the AFC since the beginning, however the end of the season has changed my mind. The Ravens have a formula that works and should win this game in a high scoring game. I got the Ravens 38-35. The Saints vs 49ers will probably be voted as the best game of the year, and this will probably be another one of those games. I think Brees will outplay Jimmy G though and the experience will triumph. Saints 35-32.

So those are my predictions for the NFL playoffs this year. Saints and Ravens making it to the super bowl. Im going to take Saints in this one just because of the experience factor 30-27. Do keep in mind that these are predictions and if any of them are not right then everything could change. Having said that, those are my NFL playoff predictions. I can’t wait to watch all these amazing games and it’s going to be a really good playoffs this tear.
