It's time to talk about him. I wanted to write a blog just about him just because of how dominant he is against teams. This won't be a super long write, but I felt like it's only respectful of me to write one about him.
Wow oh wow this guy is good. It feels like every other week he's making this insane highlight reel that we all get to sit back and enjoy. He has 2,889 passing yards, 33 touchdowns (which leads the NFL), and over 1,000 rushing yards. People question why he doesn't have a lot of passing yards and that's just because of how much they run the ball with him. He's the clear MVP favorite, and as long as he doesn't totally drop off this year, he'll win it. He's the biggest game changer in the NFL right now. The Ravens wouldn't be as good as they are without him. They don't really have any other tough games so they should secure the number one seed. Let's look at who they've beaten this year. They whooped the Patriots and Texans, beat the Seahawks, 49er's, Rams, and Bills. That's pretty good company. I love that Harbaugh took a chance on Lamar. They have made the perfect system for him in Baltimore and he's unstoppable right now. I really love what they're doing right now, and I don't know if any team can beat them this year. The one team I'm worried about in the playoffs for them is the Chiefs. I'll get into why when we start talking about playoffs.
I'm worried about the next few years for Lamar though. A lot of times, quarterbacks will have really good couple of first years, but then drop off because teams figure him out. That happened with Caepernick and Came Newton. I'd like to think it won't happen though. He's so insanely dominant and versatile that I don't know if it will happen. He has already changed what football is going to be like in the future in his first two years. More teams will start looking for players like Jackson and it will start this whole spiral. I love the energy going on in Baltimore right now, and I can't wait to keep watching Action Jackson. I'm actually changing my current super bowl pick to Ravens vs Saints. We'll get more into that though once the regular season is over.
