I know I know, another blog about the Warriors. Well I don't care. This is my blog and I can do what I want. Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson are both free agents and there's of course been talk about where KD is going to go and all that crap. First of all, these sports analysts don't know what these players will do (even including myself!) The injuries to Klay and KD, I think improved the Warriors chances of re signing them. They will offer both of them a 5 year max deal. That's the one thing we can all agree on. Klay I think would be stupid not to re sign, I believe he will, and they will keep the splash brothers together. At the beginning of the year, I didn't know what Kevin was going to do. But after these finals, I am 70% sure what he is going to do. Like I said though, no one knows for sure. After Kevin Durant put his body on the line for his team and tried to come back and help them, that showed that he really cared about this team. It showed that he would do anything to help this specific team to win the finals. That makes me 70% believe that he will sign that 5 year max deal with the Warriors. If not, I think he will go to either the Knicks, Nets, or Clippers. I truly believe Klay will re sign with the Warriors, but if he doesn't, I see him going to the Lakers with LeBron and AD. However, even if both Klay and KD re sign, they will be out most, if not all next season. So, it's a big offseason for the Warriors. I think they got a great pick in Moore from Michigan. He is a great shooter and will compliment Curry well. I think the Warriors will also sign some not as big free agents, but solid players to build up their bench again. In 2014-2016, that's what was so special about them. They had Curry, Thompson, Green, and then an amazing bench. They are called Strength in Numbers for a reason. I think Carmelo would be a great fit. He could be a great player off the bench, and I know people are saying he's not who he used to be, but he's still a solid player and could help this team. Caldwell Pope, Taj Gibson, Danny Green, Terrance Ross, Jeremy Lamb, J.J Reddick, and even Seth Curry are not as well known guys who are very solid players and could make this team the strength in numbers team we've come to love. Even with KD and Klay out pretty much the entirety of next season, and Cousins probably not coming back, this is still a team with the two time MVP and a very strong coaching team that can and will make a run at a championship.
