The Packers disappointing 2018 season

Anyone who has watched the Packers this year knows that it has been a huge let down. Aaron Rodgers has played well, but hasn't looked like his normal "GOAT" self. He's missed some big throws in big games and it has cost us. I mean we were talked about to be one of the super bowl favorites this year and we won't even be making the playoffs. It was hard to see my Packers this year. We had one of the most difficult schedules in the league and it showed. However, no game we lost was a blowout. We were always in the game and always just one or a few mistakes away. Like when Ty Montgomery decided to take the ball out of the end zone after a kick return and fumbled so A-Rodg had no chance to go out and make something happen. I don't know about the other Packer fans, but I was glad to see McCarthy go. I think he was a great coach, but he has just lost his touch. A lot of people have said that we should have waited till the end of the season to fire him, but I disagree. The Packers aren't supposed to lose at home to the worst team in the NFL. We should have had Deshone Kizer in by the 3rd quarter, that's how much of a blowout it should have been. So I think it was a good idea. It will give us a few games with a new coach before next season, our super bowl championship season hehe. I think this off season will be one of the best. We're going to get some higher draft picks so we can get some really good guys out of college. I also think with new leadership, our toughness could go up. I've noticed that under McCarthy we've gotten kind of soft with our toughness and our hitting so I'm hoping some new leadership will reinstall that kind of toughness with the Green Bay Packers. I also think that with the new draft picks and maybe picking up some guys in free agency will help us get some new guys that are good. We need some new pass rushers, pass blockers, wide receievers, and just plain toughness on the defensive end. If we can get a lot of these things in the off season, it would be a great supporting cast around Rodgers. I truly believe this off season will be one of the best to bring a supporting cast around Rodgers, and that the Packers will be back in super bowl contention next year.
