My ballhawking career

Let me just say this, it so far has been very short. I’ve watched the YouTuber Zack Hample for a long time now. He is one of the best ballhawkers in the world. He has taught me a lot through his YouTube videos. I hadn’t been to a MLB game in a long time. Not since before I started watching Zack. I had used his tricks to get two balls at some minor league games. My first one was a toss up from Kyle Zimmer after he finished his pre game warm ups. He was headed to the bullpen and saw that I had been standing there with my glove and tossed it to me. The second one was an overthrow by Ryan O’Hearn that landed in the seats and I picked it up. One kid actually tried to say I couldn’t keep it so that he could get it. I of course did not fall for his trickery. Anyways, let’s get to my first major league catch. It happened yesterday. We got to the game at 4:30, for a 7:15 game. I wasn’t able to get in till 5:30, and they only had the outfield open. I was only there for the Blue Jays batting practice but they did a lot. There were lots of home runs hit, I wasn’t able to get any of them though. Throughout BP, many were hit right before the wall and the outfielders had to come get the ball and they tossed it up. The first two that were tossed up to me, I embarrassingly missed. But the 3rd one tossed, I caught. I gotta tell you, it was an amazing feeling. It was a very clean major league ball. That was when I knew I wanted to continue doing this at all major league games I go to. So, I will continue to do that. I had a lot of fun, and with my goal of visiting every major league stadium, I will be able to ballhawk at all of those stadiums. It felt amazing to catch that first ball and I look forward to hopefully catching many more
