Is this the year LSU overcomes Alabama?

I have been a big fan of LSU for a bit now, just because of the style they play in. Joe Burrow is an absolute beast and he plays with a lot of swagger. I think he's the guy who's going to sneak in and maybe win the Heisman. His numbers have absolutely sky rocketed since last year and is playing with a lot more confidence. In the past few years, LSU has won because of its defense, but they have always lost to Alabama. This year, their defense has definitely slowed down a bit, but their offense is so unbelievably good.

They have averaged 57.75 points per game so far and went into Texas and beat them 45-38. The only problem I see with them is their defense. The one game I see that being a problem is the Alabama. They allowed a bad Vanderbilt team to score 38 points. However, Joe Burrow has been so unbelievably good, that I would take him in any shoot out. Even against the great quarterback at Alabama in Tua. I have been a huge fan of Burrow and his swagger. He has just been so good.

I believe that this defense will start to figure the troubles out though. They won't get to where they were last year, but they will definitely improve. I think that this will be the year that LSU overcomes Alabama in the regular season and probably the championship. They will win every game except maybe the Alabama game. Sure, they play Florida and Auburn, but both of those schools are not what they used to be and LSU is much better than they were last year.

I can't wait for the Alabama vs LSU game. I think that's the biggest test Tua will have to face all year and I think this is the year. Tua and Burrow will go head to head in a shoot out and like I said, I would take Burrow over him. This LSU team is much more exciting and I can't wait to see how far they can go this year. I think me, and the whole country, are hoping this is the year where Alabama falls to LSU.
